Stealing the Election

Issue section:
(291)

John Kerry won just as Al Gore did last time. However, those who own the electronic vote-boxes have swung the voting to steal the US election.

See http://onlinejournal.com/evoting/110504Chin/110504chin.html. In all the swing states, those with no paper trail, ie uncheckable purely electronic voting, saw a good 5 percent more apparent 'votes for Bush' than an exit poll demonstrated: http://www.democraticunderground.com/.

For an account of how this happened last time, see The Best Democracy Money Can Buy by Greg Palast. The mystery here is why Kerry acknowledged defeat so quickly - as did Gore - just as totally compelling and entirely predictable evidence of electronic fraud was emerging.

The fraud particularly involves the erasure of lots of black and Hispanic votes.
